The Scorch Trials Book Review ans Summary
76Have you ever wanted to chuck a book? I mean throw it against the wall like a bratty two year old throwing a tantrum. When Edward left in New Moon my friend's book almost took a flying leap out of my living room window, but of course I contained myself. Why? (I guess other than the fact that I don't destroy my friend's property.) Because I had to read more! I had to KNOW! Great books do that to you. They make you feel something. They make you want more. That's why I want to hunt down James Dashner, throw The Scorch Trials in his shuck face (so he can FINALLY sign it, again....... my fault), and demand the manuscript to the next and last installment of the series, The Death Cure. I'm seriously considering it y'all. I want that shank book NOW !
The maze was just the beginning. It was like a picnic with the Queen of England compared to The Scorch Trials. The grievers were nothing but small, yet annoying fire ants trying to make off with the tea and crumpets...... not that I like either. Now, instead of trying to find their way through a maze of nice solid walls, the Gladers find themselves on a journey through the Scorch. This waste land was set aside as a place of anything but refuge for Cranks, people who have been infected with the mysterious Flare. Imagine zombies that aren't quite dead. They can still think somewhat clear, yet extremely violent thoughts and have super human strength. They are just one of the variables that are set up to test the boys as they try to reach the safe haven. Then they'll finally be safe from the Scorch, the tests, from the madness, unless of course the madness is really within.
This Sci-Fi young adult novel series has officially gone thriller in my mind (minus Michael Jackson). I had goose bumps, chills, and I heard freaky, dissonant violin music in my head as I read. Just when you think the characters are out of danger they are thrown head first into another even more deadly variable. I didn't want to put the book down. I still don't. I want to continue to stare at the wall with the book clenched firmly in my fingers until the day when The Death Cure comes out so I KNOW what happens. Dashner. You must stop the madness. Bring a signed boxed set to me soon and everything will be fine......yes it's going to be.......fine...... I guess my one last thought is this. I just read the series The Hunger Games. I loved it, but it could have been better. I wanted it to be better. I wanted to feel uplifted and happy at the end. I feel that when characters are left conflicted at the end of the story I tend to feel conflicted about the books. I want to say, "BOOYAKA that rocked!!!!!!!!!!" and not be depressed for days after. I hope that this series continues to satisfy my craving for awesomeness.
I kinda like this song for the movie. Maybe not for the over all theme though. Any suggestions?

I met the author of this book, James Dashner, at a book signing. He was there signing books next to the author I had really come to meet. I gave him that "Oh you're an author how cool but who the heck are... - The Maze Runner Cast List
Yes, that is the answer to the question in everyone's minds who know my articles well and have been following me. Yes, I missed my calling in life. I should have been a casting director. I love to...

Im really excited about reading the second book! I got the first book a few days ago and now I've read the whole thing! I was bored so I decided to see peoples opinions on the hunger games cast when i came across the bottom where it said something about the maze runner and im like HEY! I READ THAT! and then i saw theres another book to it.. that was the highlight of my day.. HIP HIP HOORAY! i thought the maze runner was an only book because it had an epilogue but now im so pysched for the next one ;DD
you know what this song really fits well? Amber spyglass last installment of golden compass SPOILER.....another sad ending like hunger games.
I wanna read this book soo badly! But I live in Scandinavia so all the good books come here much later than they appear in USA, or they might never come here. It's the same thing with movies and tv-shows.. I can't waite a few months for some movie I rly wanna see. It's annoying! So, I hope this serie will come here too, and very soon, cause it seems to be very very interesting. :)
are u going to make a cast list fro this book?

I love how with book 2 you still aren't completely sure what's going on. It gives you something to talk and speculate about with your friends. At least they haven't been predictable! I can't believe it's going to be next year before we know what's going on.
